After a day of giving thanks and two days for getting deals, a cultural center in New York City thought, let's get communities and organizations to save a day for giving. The day is now called #GivingTuesday, and is today -- the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. And it's a great reason to give to Spokane Public Radio.
We know so many of our listeners have given to Spokane Public Radio, and some of the reasons why are in these "UNselfies" pictured on this page. What's an UNselfie? A photo representing yourself, with a special unselfish twist.
Here's how: Take a “selfie” with a caption, or put a card in the picture. Explain how or why you and/or friends are making donations to Spokane Public Radio this year. Spread the word by posting on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media using hashtags #UNselfie, #GivingTuesday, and #SpoPubRad.
