Cashmere Community Concerts Presents The Dewhirst-Monroe Quartet - Bluegrass

Join Cashmere Community Concerts and immerse yourself in the lively, yet relaxed, living room vibe music of the Pacific Northwest’s, home grown Dewhirst-Monroe Quartet. In their words they are, “Washington-based and southern-seasoned, delivering a tasteful blend of folk, singer-songwriter, and Americana while remaining firmly rooted in their traditional bluegrass heritage. Comprised of two married couples who have all been playing music together since childhood, the essence of the band is “authenticity”. Inspired originals featuring powerful vocals and crisp instrumental work. Nothing showy. Just grounded, genuine people playing genuine music.”
Band Members: Jake Monroe, mandolin/guitar/banjo/vocals; Kaiti Monroe, banjo/bass/guitar/vocals; Molly Dewhirst, bass/guitar/vocals; Jake Dewhirst, guitar/mandolin/vocals.
Located at the Cashmere Community Church; 213 S Division St, Cashmere, WA. Cost: $5.00 per person at the door, “Pass the Hat” for musicians with a suggested donation of $8 to $15 per person. Info: (509) 421-0494 or visit www.cashmereconcerts.com
