A concert celebrating the music of Duke Ellington featuring Gonzaga faculty, students, and leading professional musicians from Spokane’s classical and jazz communities. Performers include Gonzaga faculty vocalist Dr. Jadrian Tarver on Ellington songs, and Gonzaga alum and New England Conservatory conductor William Drury leading the The Spokane Symphony Chorale & MOSAIC Wind Orchestra (GU faculty, students, professionals) on the west coast premiere of a setting of Ellington's music from “The Sacred Concerts” for choir, jazz trio and wind orchestra.
