Gonzaga Theatre Presents: The Vagina Monologues

Gonzaga Theatre Presents: The Vagina Monologues

Hailed by The New York Times as "the most important piece of political theatre of the last decade" upon its premiere in 1996, The Vagina Monologues emerged from playwright V's interviews with more than 200 women. First performed as a solo piece, the work has now grown to a global phenomenon and is performed all over the world to call for an end to violence against women and girls, and to celebrate and unpack the female experience. A portion of this production's proceeds go to benefit Spokane YWCA.
