Luminia Chamber String Orchestra

Luminia Chamber String Orchestra

Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center, Recital Hall
Join us for the debut performance of Luminia, a trailblazing chamber string orchestra with some of Spokane's finest musicians, led by violinist Jason Moody. The program includes the enigmatic Entr'acte by Pulitzer Prize winning composer Caroline Shaw and the joyful Saint Paul's Suite by Gustav Holst.

The concert culminates with a preview screening of Love, Eleanor, a short narrative film directed by Charles M. Pepiton (see trailer), with a live score composed by Michael Kropf. Love, Eleanor follows a young art historian who travels to a Greek island to document its icons. Along the way, she encounters unexpected wonders that move her to reconcile with a former lover. The film was shot on location in Greece in April 2025 with GU alum Elizabeth Spindler in the title role.
