Rising Tide – A Collaborative Evening of Dance

Rising Tide – A Collaborative Evening of Dance

Kindling Productions presents the third annual Rising Tide, a collaborative evening of professional dance showcasing original choreography by five Spokane-based choreographers. Inspired by the proverb “a rising tide lifts all boats,” the performance uplifts local artists while celebrating the depth, diversity, and vitality of Spokane’s dance community.

Rising Tide features original works by five Spokane-based choreographers and 33 local dancers, highlighting the depth of professional dance talent in the region. The choreographic voices: Phaedra Jarrett, Sarah Glesk, Emily Grizzell, Monica Mota, and CarliAnn Forthun Bruner, each offer a unique artistic perspective while contributing to a cohesive, immersive evening of movement.

Audiences can expect a wide range of dance styles and approaches, including ballet, contemporary dance, and Spanish classical, all united by a shared commitment to collaboration, artistic excellence, and community connection.
