The Spokane Folklore Society welcomes everyone to their December 6 contra dance with Nancy Staub calling and teaching east to learn dances. The Irish band Banna Damhsa will provide lively and driving fiddle music. Newcomers are welcome. No partner is necessary. All ages. Come join in the fun with a kind energetic community. Gender free calling. Newcomer session begins at 7:15 followed by the dance at 7:30 ending at 9:30PM. General admission is $10; SFS members and students is $7; and kids under 18 are free.
