Spokane Folklore Society Contra Dance
The Spokane Folklore Society hosts contra dances 1st and 3rd Wednesdays through June. On this Wednesday April 17, Karen Wilson Bell will teach and call easy to learn dances. River City Ramblers will provide old time music. This fun community welcomes everyone. Newcomer session starts at 7:15PM followed by the dance at 7:30PM. Come along or bring a friend. General admission is $10; SFS Members and students $7; under 18, free. These dances are held at the Woman's Club Hall at the corner of 9th and Walnut. It's fun! Come try it.
