The Spokane Jazz Orchestra will perform the Christmas Music of Nancy Wilson, featuring the smooth, sultry vocals of guest artist Sacha Boutros, who has a four-octave range and was mentored early in her career by Nancy Wilson. The SJO Christmas concert is a much-loved holiday tradition, and holiday music comes alive in a new way when played by a talented 17-piece ensemble made up of some of the best jazz musicians in the Northwest. More than half of SJO members are college music professors, while several others are high school music teachers. Sacha Boutros is a producer, composer and multi-lingual singer. She is Grammy nominated, with numerous awards on the international music scene, has toured extensively throughout the world and is one of the top jazz artists today with a career spanning over two decades.
