PROGRAM STARTS AT 1 PM.

Come at 12:30 PM to view items used in the early NW fur trade displayed in the MAC auditorium lobby.

PROGRAM INCLUDES:

- Readings from the early Northwest Fur Trade Winter Journal on winter activities at the trading post presented by Mark Weadick.

- “The Lasting Impact of the Fur Trade Companies' presence in the Inland NW and remnants still visible today.” with Ranger Paul Neddo, Riverside State Park.

- “Before Joko” A telling of the people that were here when the fur traders first arrived as told by Spokane tribal historian of the Spokane Tribe of Indians Warren Seyler

- Break 15 minutes

- Old Tales from the Fur Traders – 3 pm:
“How the Buffalo Got His Hump” – as told by Mark Willoughby
“The Tale of Two Wolves” – as told and signed by Bill Delyea
“The Otter Plays a Trick” – as told by Mark Weadick
