Solo Exhibition of representational paintings by CDA local Jan Clizer. Her focus is creating images of land, sea and culture in Scotland, N. Ireland & Cornwall. Open most days 10-5.
A showcase of Jan Clizer's work will be hanging at The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center in Post Falls through August 14th. OPENING RECEPTION is Friday, June 21st at 5:30. Come meet the artist! A long-time local, Jan's deep interest in Celtic culture has found expression through her paintings and music (Scots fiddle!). Driven by her passion, over the past 21 years she has made numerous trips and extended stays 'across the Pond' to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Cornwall, returning from the most recent sojourn in late May. As you visit the show, step into Jan's world of subtle colour, Scottish, Irish and Cornish culture, and creativity, as she works to share her appreciation of what she sees and experiences with you through her paintings.
