The Spokane Handweavers Guild invites the public to admire a stunning display of one-of-a-kind, handwoven items made by members and offered for sale for your own enjoyment or as unique holiday gifts. This FREE, two-day event takes place at the Barrister Winery in downtown Spokane. Choices range from household linens, such as kitchen towels and placemats, to scarves, shawls, other accessories, and more. There is something for everyone at prices for every budget. Did you participate in the First Friday Art Walk but not ready to go home? Are you tired of going to the bar?

Late Laughs is your monthly dose of experimental improv and comedy, happening every First Friday at 9:30 PM. Each show features a rotating lineup of performers from independent troupes to new voices trying something bold and unpredictable. These are not your typical Blue Door shows. Each 20-minute set is a chance for groups to push boundaries, test new formats, and take creative risks… all in front of a late-night crowd that is ready for anything.

Whether you are a night owl looking for laughs or just want something different to do downtown, Late Laughs is your alternative to the usual Friday night.

HEART urgently needs more volunteer members to help provide assistance in times of emergency/disasters, whether man-made or natural, rescuing animals, setting up and operating emergency animal shelters when requested by the appropriate authority such as emergency management, law enforcement, fire service.

December's menu is a family favorite - BREAKFAST for dinner - pancakes, sausage and hashbrowns. Come hungry and ready to enjoy a feast prepared with love—plus, live music. There’s nothing quite like the sound of laughter, conversation, and community spirit under one roof.

We believe some of the best moments in life happen around a dinner table. It’s where we laugh, share our stories, and turn strangers into friends. For us, creating this space is an authentic way to live out our calling to love our neighbors. In a world that can feel divided, we wanted that same feeling of a welcoming family table for our entire neighborhood.

This is about more than just a free meal; it's about connection. We’ve found that when we make space for each other, something incredible happens. The walls that divide us start to come down, and we discover a deeper sense of hope and community. It’s in this simple act of gathering that we not only connect with each other, but we also find a path to becoming more like Jesus. We invite you to pull up a chair and experience this unique blend of community and faith for yourself.

Park in our lot or along the side streets. Enter in the door to the right of the main stairs. Head on up and join the crowd. Doors open at 5:30, dinner is served at 6. Hang out and visit as long as you'd like.

The organ music of Johann Sebastian Bach performed in three locations by a traveling team of four organists. Hear some of the most well-known works from Bach, “supreme arbiter and lawgiver of music” (Nicholas Slonimsky, 1940). Join us for this free celebration of Bach’s 341st birthday.
