Brighten the holiday season for 90 local families who are experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, or unemployment. Your kindness adds much needed hope and joy this winter for families served by YWCA Spokane. Gifts must be delivered to YWCA Spokane by December 4th so they can be distributed ahead of the holidays. You can also give to a family in need online.
Sasha Barrett was born and raised in Sumy, Ukraine, where he spent half of his childhood. He has been a resident artist at various clay studios across the country, as well as completing his MFA from the University of Montana in 2025. He states, “This exhibition is a portrayal of the last three-plus years of war on the soil of my homeland. Whether through the tactile properties of clay sculpture, the direct information delivery of documentary film, or actual artifacts and objects from the war, I hope this presentation of artwork leaves you with compassion and a deeper understanding of what Ukraine is fighting for.”

Did you participate in the First Friday Art Walk but not ready to go home? Are you tired of going to the bar?
Late Laughs is your monthly dose of experimental improv and comedy, happening every First Friday at 9:30 PM. Each show features a rotating lineup of performers from independent troupes to new voices trying something bold and unpredictable. These are not your typical Blue Door shows. Each 20-minute set is a chance for groups to push boundaries, test new formats, and take creative risks… all in front of a late-night crowd that is ready for anything.
Whether you are a night owl looking for laughs or just want something different to do downtown, Late Laughs is your alternative to the usual Friday night.
Tickets just $6.
Come curious. Leave laughing.

Wim Hof Method workshops teach how oxygen and cold exposure can optimize body and mind, with guidance on the underlying physiology. Limited to around 25 participants, the small group size ensures personal attention and feedback. Workshops include an introduction, breathing exercises, and an optional ice bath, followed by reflection and Q&A. Each instructor brings unique expertise, and participants receive a schedule upon registration. Beginners are encouraged to prepare by ending showers cold. Suitable for most people with basic health, workshops are not advised during pregnancy, for those with epilepsy, or individuals with cardiovascular or serious medical conditions without consultation.
Custer's Grass Band, Olivia Brownlee and Kat Bula.
The schedule is jamming from 4-6 (door opens at 4 pm), finger food potluck at 6, and concert at 6:30. It's relatively easy to access it from the Maple Street exit on I-90. It's located at 4340 Whistalks Way, just below Spokane Falls Community College, and just up from Government Way... It has ample parking... We will offer the same low ticket prices of $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers for the 2025-6 season. (This applies for the jam and/or the concert) Yearly membership is still $25 per family, and children are free... Please note we can not process credit cards--cash or check only.
Please no food or drinks in the seating area. There is an area to sit and eat with a view of the concert between the concert area and jamming room. The bands donate their performances, and we will continue the tip jar to help them defray their expenses...
