“Symbiosis: The Living Language of the Inland Northwest” brings together three artists exploring the deep interconnections between humans and the natural world.
Lauren Adams’ large scale drawings of native conifers honor the monumental presence and intricate details of the region’s forests. Tricia Kleinot’s Fruiting Bodies reveals the unseen networks of fungi and lichen that sustain life beneath the surface. Joanna Shippam’s paintings celebrate the natural world through abstract representation, often mixing natural pigments with manmade mediums to highlight our connection to our environment.
Together, their works invite viewers to see the Inland Northwest as a living system where every root, spore, and grain of soil speaks the language of balance, reciprocity, and wonder.

The Lilac City Voices Barbershop Chorus will have their holiday show on December 18 at St Stephen's Episcopal Church 5720 S Perry. The show starts at 7 featuring the chorus and guests. There will also be a Silent Auction and Raffle
Finally, a holiday show with swagger. Dubbed a “10-piece Jazz sensation” (LA Weekly) and led by charismatic siren Lizzy. Los Angeles’ hottest swing band (LA Fox 11) skips into town with holiday standards as you’ve never heard before, arranged by Lizzy’s music director and former Benny Goodman arranger and band member Dan Barrett. Swing into the holidays and bring your dancing shoes – there will be a floor!
