“An Evening Under the Stars” event is held at Arbor Crest, celebrating the life of Katherine Gellhorn, with a silent auction, picnic buffet by Catered for You, and music by The Spokane Wanderers, The Brian Flick Trio with Ann Fennessey, and star gazing with the Spokane Sidewalk Astronomers.

A new on-line community calendar is launched, allowing listeners to check events even if they missed the on-air announcements, and streamlining the submission process.
Cokie Roberts comes to Spokane, in celebration of NPR’s 40th anniversary, with a presentation at The Bing Crosby Theater.
