Google is sponsoring a Spokane event for business owners to get some hands-on learning this week in digital skills.
Google spokeswoman Nicky Rigg says the company will hold classes related to marketing your business at the Spokane Public Library.
“Our hands on workshops will help you find more customers online. If you are a small business owner it will let you grow your business presence online and start your online business as well,” Rigg said.
Google staff will be there all day to advise on how to increase your online skills, from marketing to working with spreadsheets.
“The tools that we have for small businesses, non-profits and web publishers were used by 37,000 businesses across the state last year, and that created $18 billion in economic activity for Washington,” she said.
