John Hagney Reads "Self Portrait With Thorn Necklace And Hummingbird (II)” by Pascale Petit

All of this week's readings are examples of ekphrastic verse, in which the poem is inspired by another work of art. Today's poem responds to the painting "Self Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird" by Frida Kahlo.
