Cisco I introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of networking. Topics include network terminology, media, protocols, equipment, OS; and TCP models, basic router and switch configuration with LANs, and IP addressing.
By taking this course and Cisco II, students will study topics aligned with the Cisco CCENT certification exam. Course includes 55 hours of instruction time and 15 hours of homework.
