The annual play produced by Northwoods Performing Arts is "Mandate for Murder" written by Pat Cook and directed by Jennifer Miles. "Mandate" takes a stab at politics which, in itself, can be murder! Clues and suspects are all over the stage in this frenetic political satire, and the audience will not know who they can trust or WHO might be guilty of the heinous murder!Six "Mandate" performances are scheduled for three weekends on Oct. 4-5,11-12, and 18-19. Doors open at 5:30pm, dining service begins at 6:30pm and the curtain opens at 7:30pm.Menus for the 6 shows are from Village Kitchen Restaurant (Oct. 4, Breaded Pork Cutlets); Owen's Catering (Oct. 5, Country Fried Steak); Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant (Oct. 11, Chicken Fajitas); Country Snack Shack (Oct. 12, Sirloin Tip); Village Kitchen Restaurant (Oct. 18, Salisbury Steak); and Village Kitchen Restaurant (Oct. 19, Parmesan Chicken).
