The Spokane Symphony will present a virtual concert, “New Year’s Eve with the Spokane Symphony & Friends,” on December 31 starting at 4:00 p.m.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this is the first time that Spokane Symphony musicians have performed together for a public event since February 2020. Ticketholders may watch the concert at their convenience on Vimeo, from December 31, 2020 at 4:00 p.m., through June 30, 2021. In addition to the string section, led by Concertmaster Mateusz Wolski, this concert includes the Spokane Symphony brass section playing a jazzy number.
One of the “friends” in the concert is Spokane’s nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, Cami Bradley, who will perform three songs, including one with the orchestra. Best-selling author Jess Walter will share a message for the new year. The Spokane Symphony is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2020, and is delighted to be back on stage in this virtual, on-demand event. We hope you'll enjoy it from the cozy comfort of your home on New Year's Eve or whenever you like!
