Northwest Guitar Festival, Day 1

Northwest Guitar Festival, Day 1

Join the 29th Northwest Guitar Festival from April 1st–3rd, reconvening after a two-year pandemic hiatus at Spokane’s Holy Names Music Center’s McNally Recital Hall. Day 1’s events will begin with the semi-final stage of the adult guitar competition at 10:30 AM. Michael Millham, EWU’s guitar professor and GU Guitar professor, will teach a master class to selected participants at 2 PM. James Reid, Professor Emeritus at the U of Idaho and NW Guitar Festival founder, will perform solo classical guitar at 4:30 PM. Paul Grove, classical guitar professor at Whitworth, Gonzaga University, and North Idaho College, will perform at 7:30 PM.

We hope you’ll come out and celebrate the return of this wonderful classical guitar festival!

Full registrants pay $150 to attend all events from April 1–3; day participants pay $60 ($50 for Sunday); single recital cost is $30 + fees. For more details, visit northwestguitarfestival.org.
