The 2022 Northwest Winterfest features the following:
• Kids 10 and under FREE with paid adult(s) supervision
• Indoor with heaters at Ag complex of Spokane County Fair and Expo Center
• Winter Wonderland of “Holiday Themed” giant lanterns
• Northwest Winterfest Cultural Celebrations with demos, arts and crafts, and live performances on the dedicated stage
• Northwest Winterfest Kids Wonderland with interactive activities
• Educational guided tours available for schools and nonprofits
• Hand-painted Christmas Trees by local artists featuring 20 cultures
• Holiday food and beverages
The Northwest Winterfest is inspired by the cultural activities facilitated by the 2015 Washington State Chinese Lantern Festival, which generated a total economic impact of $4.67 million for the region. It has been hosting cultural, arts, in-person performances, and lights festivals since 2018.

Northwest Winterfest features life size lights displays in the form of traditional Chinese Lanterns, lantern Christmas trees hand painted by regional artists, art and crafts, food and entertainment, culture and education, all happening during the holiday season. We hosted the large-scale events in Spokane Valley and the Tri-Cities in 2021 and 2022.

As a 501(c)3 Washington State nonprofit, Northwest Winterfest will always provide FREE access to kids 10 and under. The joy and exposure to something magic and unique for our kids worth every penny we invest into this annual holiday event.
