Ages 16+ (please reach out if you feel you have a younger teen that would do well in an adult setting). Students must have taken at least one pottery class before.

6-week course, April 17th – May 22nd

In this immersion course, we continue the skills learned in Beginner Level 1. Students will become familiar with the studio, throwing on the pottery wheel, and leave knowing the basic uses of tools and materials needed for the ceramic arts.

Students are encouraged to ask questions, bring any project ideas they want to learn or practice, and ask the instructor if they have specific skills they want help with.

We offer 1 or 2 monitored open studio times each week. Open studio times will be announced during your first class. We try to have one weekend and one weekday.

Included in this course: 12.5 lbs of clay (additional clay will be available to purchase), tools, studio glazes, and the firing of all finished work.

We do ask that students provide their own towels. We recommend a small dish-sized towel, but a full-size towel works as well.
