The Spokane Folklore Society's season opening contra dance is the third Wednesday September 16 featuring live music from the Jam Band, an all volunteer group of musicians. Easy to learn dances will be taught by a variety of seasoned Spokane based callers. The Woman's Club Hall has been the site of these contra dances since 1980. A newcomer's session begins at 7:15PM followed by a two hour dance starting at 7:30PM. No experience is necessary. Singles and couples are welcomed. Dress is casual.
General Admission:10. SFS Members and those 25 to 18: $7. Under 18, free.
