How does a warm spring evening of sultry vintage blues, jazz & swing sound to you? Get ready! Villa Blues n’ Jazz is coming your way on Saturday May 20 @ 7 pm @ Kelly’s Underground!

With over 20 years experience, Heather Villa has been a featured vocalist in several local bands including: 6 Foot Swing, the Spokane Jazz Orchestra, Kind of Blue, The Brent Edstrom Trio and currently plays with her band, Villa Blues n’ Jazz. The band has been appearing locally at Emma Rue’s as well as Highballs at Northern Quest Casino.
Villa Blues n' Jazz was founded in 2011. After singing lead vocals in the swingin' and award winning band, 6 Foot Swing, Heather brought together a group of talented and experienced jazz musicians to form a more blues and soul group. Some musical influences of the group include Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, John Lee Hooker, BB King and Stevie Wonder. You can hear some recordings found on their website here.

Tickets are $20. Doors open at 6:30, and seating is limited to the first 50 tickets sold!
