Directed by Terri Caldwell, "Attack of the Lake People" features an eccentric rural slice of life full of oddball characters, funny lines and a few unexpected twists. A family reunion turns into a real upside-down adventure, where everybody is a suspect when someone unexpectedly dies.

Friendly, accessible community dancing in the New England tradition, held every second Friday (except August). Live music, lively caller, all dances taught and called. No experience or partner needed; new dancers welcome and encouraged to arrive early for introductory session at 7. The musical parodies of political and current events performed by the Capitol Fools will be coming to First Interstate Center for the Arts in Spokane on Friday, October 10.

The Capitol Fools hold up a mirror to our crazy political and social culture, providing hilarious song parodies and foolish reflections that inspire belly-laughter. Audiences will see former members of the Capitol Steps performing all the beloved bits, the mind-boggling backward talking spoonerisms, break-neck costume changes, over-the-top impressions, and all-new song parodies reflecting the day’s news.

Get ready for a night of mystery, our parody loosely based on the classic movie Clue, with different characters and new plots created on the spot every show! Anyone can be the murderer, and you, the audience, get to decide. Will you uncover the truth, or will you be left with…no clue?

With Love From is an evening of professional contemporary dance featuring choreographic works by three artists from across the Western United States. As Vytal Movement Dance's first-ever concert dedicated to showcasing the work of guest artists, this performance is a heartfelt celebration of creativity, collaboration, and connection.

The evening will highlight the incredible work of guest choreographers Lexi Dysart from Southern California and Belle Baggs from North Idaho, along with a revival of a captivating piece by Vytal Movement’s Artistic Director Lexie Powell, performed for the first time in ten years.

Join us for an evening that honors movement, creative narrative, and the many voices shaping today’s dance landscape.

The world’s premier mariachi ensemble, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, will take the stage at The Podium Powered by STCU on Friday, October 10.

This interactive installation features poetry from people on their healing journey after domestic violence paired with artwork by local artists. At each of the 15 stations that are displayed along a scenic walking path, you’ll find conversation prompts designed to spark meaningful dialogue about what healthy and unhealthy relationships can look like.
