Stop on by Auntie's to chat with poet Dario Cvencek about his poetry collections, PTSD Martini and Mirror Made of Words, and grab signed copies! PTSD Martini is a collection of poetry that explores the overarching themes of war, trauma, healing, gun violence, immigration, and identity. Mirror Made of Words is a collection of poetry that explores the overarching themes of self-reflection and self-discovery. Thursday, July 23rd from 3PM to 4PM at Auntie's Bookstore (402 W Main Ave). This event is free and open to the public.

Baldree will do an author talk, a reading from “Brigands & Breadknives,” audience Q&A, and sign books. The evening will also feature themed drinks and a fairy photo booth.

A BYO Picnic with Local Authors & Poets

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chair, and join Wishing Tree Books for an evening of outdoor readings on our back lawn. Featuring local authors Maya Jewell Zeller, Leyna Krow, Laura Read, Erica Reid, and Sharma Shields, this relaxed summer gathering celebrates the vibrant literary voices of our region. Meet the authors, enjoy stories and poetry, and connect with fellow book lovers.

Lora Senf, author of The Clackity and the Blight Harbor series, will be joining us on Aug. 13th during the Perry Street Market to sign and promote her latest book, a young adult standalone horror novel, Unnamed Bones. Harrow, a sixteen-year-old who brings her friends to a spooky island to look for answers about her father who cursed her just before his death. Their boat sinks upon arrival, and whatever creature is inhabiting the island definetly doesn't want them there.

An intimate brunch with the author, Spokane native, K.A. Gilmore, featuring conversation, around the book, and an opportunity to discuss the stories that inspired the series. Re-decorated French Cuisine, Beignets, Mimosas and more.
