Gayle Havercroft is displaying his unique block printing pieces at Indaba Coffee Shop through April and May. He's been perfecting his skills since 2001 and especially enjoys using the Palouse as inspiration for many of his works. Gayle began adding watercolor to the block prints a few years ago. You won't want to miss seeing these. Come for the art! Stay for the coffee!

Family Hour Community Night Live Music w/ John Firshi
The Spokane Folklore Society hosts the World Contra Dance on Wednesday April 29th at the Woman's Club Hall beginning at 7:15PM with a newcommer session followed at 7:30PM with a two hour dance. In honor of National Dance Day, five callers will teach easy to learn contras and contra adjacent dances from Scotland, Ireland, French Canada, England and the Shetland Islands. The Jam Band will play fiddle tunes from these countries. What fun! Singles and partners are welcome. No experience is necessary. General Admission: $10; SFS Members $7; 18-25 - $7; under 18 - free.
