Everyone loves the "Below the Music" podcast with Dr. Elinor Galworthy, the real life show about your favorite bands. But this week they forgot to schedule a band to documentarily spy on, so they're doing "Men in Charge" instead.
Hey, we do have music. We just don't make any of it. Except for the sounds of pain.
Dr. Galworthy tests her patience with segments on Tony and Kevin's efforts to steal sketch ideas from each other; finding inspiration with scriptwriters Ann and Scott while Tony and Kevin try to steal sketch ideas from them; and a final, wrapping-up-style visit evaluating Men in Charge's musical design with Moragh van der Werff, Professional Radio Comedy Sketch Show Music Consultant, and her "Sounds Off!" Team Andi, Clare and (sigh) Kenneth. As Dr. Galworthy, formerly of the show "Ask Aunt Louise," says of Men in Charge: "We want to remind you that they’re not a musical band, but instead a bunch of well-educated yet dysfunctional would-be Emmett Kellys and Judy Tenutas!"
