Nostalgia abounds with the 2025 Spring show from Northwoods Performing Arts. Directed by Mark D. Caldwell, "Second Time Around" features chorale, solo and ensemble music that was popular throughout the last several decades. Where were you and what were you doing in the 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's? "Second Time" is a chance to revisit those memories through music.Seven performances are: May 30-31, June 3 5, 7, and June 13-14.Menus are provided by Country Snack Shack (May 30, Roasted Chicken); Village Kitchen (May 31, Parmesan Chicken); Village Kitchen (June 3, Lasagna); Two Tones (June 5, Mushroom Pork Roast); Mi Pueblo (June 7, Beef Enchilada); Owen's Catering (June 13, Fried Chicken); and Owen's Catering (June 14, Pulled Pork).

The "Watercolor Experience" is a collection of paintings from the Signature Members of the Spokane Watercolor Society. These senior members have a strong grasp of the medium and the ability to express themselves through it. You will be amazed at the variety of styles and see just how versatile watercolor is today.

At 7:30 pm a People’s Choice award will be presented, and as a special treat, our SWS member, Donna Stallings, will perform her violin from 5–7pm during the First Friday opening!
Watercolor, pencil & acrylic artist Bernadette Beeman grew up in North Idaho, and has been sharpening her hyper-realism pieces after studying with talented teachers through the years ~ in college she even studied welding!
Photographer Charles Ayars lives in Liberty Lake, having honed his skills on the plains of South Dakota taking pictures of old barns. He retired after 36 years as a Presbyterian pastor, having served in six states, and over the past eight years has expanded his artist's eye to capture not only the beauty of nature, but also the layering of images to create unique photo collages and abstracts.

The Spokane Folklore Society is currently accepting entries for Designs for the 30th annual Fall Folk Festival. The 2025 Festival, scheduled for November 8 and 9 at Spokane Community College, seeks graphic designs for its promotional materials, including posters, T-shirts, buttons, and other advertising.Anyone may enter a design. Performer Applications are now being accepted for the annual Free Fall Folk Festival taking place November 8 and 9 at Spokane Community College. 100 performers are selected to perform on 8 stages throughout the weekend featuring folk, ethnic, and traditional music and dance. We are the largest multicultural festival in the Inland Northwest . Applications are due by July 1. spokanefolkfestival.org
