Join Cashmere Community Concerts, Saturday, October 25th at 7:00pm to settle in and enjoy an evening transported to a place in time all its own through the mastery of song by Jim Faddis & Dale Adkins. Through their seamless vocal blend whether on Jim’s original songs or country classics, along with Dale’s wizardry on whatever instrument he has in his hands and Jim’s tasteful rhythm guitar, you’ll be treated to something truly special. These two know how to build a song from the bottom up and then deliver it with heart, feeling, mastery and soul. Dale has performed across the U.S. and Europe. He has played with Northwest's premier Bluegrass bands including Out of the Blue, Dr. Corn's Bluegrass Remedy, Frontline, True North, Old Growth Acoustic Quartet, and Dan Crary. Jim’s soulful voice strikes a chord deep within audience members. For years, his bluegrass band, Prairie Flyer, lit up the Washington State bluegrass scene. Jim’s gift for songwriting shines in his band FarmStrong, where he leans on styles from Gillian Welch to Neil Young for inspiration. Band Members: Jim Faddis, guitar/vocals; Dale Adkins, guitar/vocals.

There’s something truly special about sharing a meal together—and we’re excited to announce that it’s time for another one of our community dinners! October's menu is enchiladas, beans and rice, salad and churros for dessert. Come hungry and ready to enjoy a feast prepared with love—plus, live music. There’s nothing quite like the sound of laughter, conversation, and community spirit under one roof.
We believe some of the best moments in life happen around a dinner table. It’s where we laugh, share our stories, and turn strangers into friends. For us, creating this space is an authentic way to live out our calling to love our neighbors. In a world that can feel divided, we wanted that same feeling of a welcoming family table for our entire neighborhood.
This is about more than just a free meal; it's about connection. We’ve found that when we make space for each other, something incredible happens. The walls that divide us start to come down, and we discover a deeper sense of hope and community. It’s in this simple act of gathering that we not only connect with each other, but we also find a path to becoming more like Jesus. We invite you to pull up a chair and experience this unique blend of community and faith for yourself.
Park in our lot or along the side streets. Enter in the door to the right of the main stairs. Head on up and join the crowd. Doors open at 5:30, dinner is served at 6. Hang out and visit as long as you'd like.
