Sravasti Abbey, a Buddhist monastery in Newport, Washington, invites young people aged 18 to 29 to live, learn, and explore in a week-long residential course with well-known Buddhist nun, author, and teacher Venerable Thubten Chodron. The course includes meditation instruction and practice, teachings, discussions on current issues, and working outdoors in acres of forest. The entire course, including meals and lodging, is offered on a donation basis. No meditation experience necessary; just an open and curious mind/heart.
