Step into 50 years of Spokane’s greatest tradition! 50 Years of Movement brings the magic of Bloomsday to life through an immersive journey of rare memorabilia, archival imagery, and the iconic art that defines the race. From the evolution of the finisher shirt to the poster art of legendary artist Ken Spiering, this exhibit celebrates the creativity and community spirit that moves us all. Come relive the memories and feel the pulse of five decades of Bloomsday.
50 Years of Movement is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:00 - 7:00PM starting on April 4th, 2026 - April 25th, 2026.

This original show by local composer/performer, Olivia Brownlee, is a theatrical presentation of 10 songs tracing her arc of overcoming codependency, featuring Olivia’s Inner Housewife, Inner Pirate, and a five-piece marching horn band as a bombastic “Greek Chorus.”
“Treasure Island” is a fast-paced, family-friendly adaptation of this classic adventure tale by Robert Louis Stevenson. Packed with swashbuckling action, colorful characters, and imaginative staging, this Prince Street Version brings pirates, hidden treasure, and high-seas excitement to life in a playful, accessible way that is perfect for audiences of all ages. This musical runs April 10 to 26 – Fridays at 7 pm / Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm. The ASL Interpreted performance is April 12, at 2:00 pm, and the Family Value Night on April 18, at 7:00 pm.

Gayle Havercroft is displaying his unique block printing pieces at Indaba Coffee Shop through April and May. He's been perfecting his skills since 2001 and especially enjoys using the Palouse as inspiration for many of his works. Gayle began adding watercolor to the block prints a few years ago. The Whitworth University Music Department presents the Trumpet Festival 2026 on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Cowles Music Center, hosted by Logan Pintor and Jared Hall.
Featuring Bach Trumpet Artist and rising trumpet star Kellin Hanas, 2024 ITG Trumpet Competition Jazz Division first place winner, 2024 Downbeat Magazine Undergraduate College Outstanding Soloist, member of Carnegie Hall's 2020 and 2021 NYO Jazz Band.
Join us for a full day of all things trumpet, including a free (open to the public) concert with Kellin Hanas and the Whitworth Trumpet Ensemble at 5 p.m. in the Myhre Recital Hall.
