"Body of Work" is a collaborative exhibition by tattoo artists Sarah Mortier and Christina Villagomez that reimagines the traditional canvas of tattooing—the human body—through sculptural and object-based forms. By "tattooing" lifelike silicone skins, mannequin parts, and functional objects, the artists invite viewers to reconsider tattooing as both a deeply personal practice and a globally significant art form. Together, their works challenge perceptions of objectification, artistry, and permanence, positioning tattooing not just as body adornment, but as a living, evolving expression of human creativity.

Mickey and pals are rocking the DJ table at Disney On Ice and you’re on the guest list! Feel the electric atmosphere as they remix favorite Disney tunes into colorful worlds. Wish upon a star with Asha as she and Valentino save the Kingdom of Rosas from King Magnifico. Roar with delight as Simba, Timon and Pumbaa step into the spotlight. Groove to ocean beats with Ariel and friends, harmonize with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, and sway to the rhythm of the waves with Moana and Maui. And the party really goes off the charts when guest DJ Stitch takes control. Get ready to turn up the fun at Disney On Ice: Let's Dance! *Note: Costumes not permitted for guests 14 years & older.

Just like a real expedition, every twist and turn is unexpected, and every moment is made up on the spot. From quick-witted games to creative storytelling, Expedition offers an evening of fun, laughter, and surprises for adventurers of all ages.

Sasha Barrett was born and raised in Sumy, Ukraine, where he spent half of his childhood. He has been a resident artist at various clay studios across the country, as well as completing his MFA from the University of Montana in 2025. He states, “This exhibition is a portrayal of the last three-plus years of war on the soil of my homeland. Whether through the tactile properties of clay sculpture, the direct information delivery of documentary film, or actual artifacts and objects from the war, I hope this presentation of artwork leaves you with compassion and a deeper understanding of what Ukraine is fighting for.”

Katie Frey is a Spokane artist who primarily paints landscapes and animals. She has been teaching and creating art in Spokane for over 15 years, painting with bright colors and expressive lines. The main subject matter is planned, but everything else is intuitive: abstract blocks of color, tangled plants, a landscape disintegrating into the abstract. Katie wants her art to be wild and invigorating; to look as spontaneous and joyful as it feels when she creates it.

In her own words, “My paintings explore storytelling through animals and their environment. I am continuously trying to expand, examine and capture my relationship to wildlife and their habitat; to create an open door for viewers to engage with the elements.”

Our Pokemon expert, Bob, will host battles for kid enthusiasts. Bring your own cards, borrow some from Bob, or buy a pack from the store. All levels of experience are welcome! There is no cost for this event, no RSVP needed.
