Lost in the jungle, a tiny baby is cared for by the animals that live there. Under their guidance, Tarzan becomes adept at living in the wild. His world gets turned upside down, however, with the arrival of a "civilized" woman who wants to study him. Enjoy this Disney rendition of Tarzan, live on stage at Spokane Children's Theatre. Performances run May 17-June 2, with shows beginning at 7 pm on Fridays and 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Emilija Blake's "The World Between." is a multimedia presentation focusing primarily on the unique challenges of life as a disabled person. Emilija graduated in 2023 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a focus on Digital Art and Illustration as well as a minor in Art History. Going beyond language and other barriers, her art is a means of delivery and communication to further understanding. Prepare to be dazzled by the fascinating environment Emilija creates.
Our annual Project Hope show of 2024: Radium Girls, a play about the effects of radium and healthcare in the 1920s. Come support not only local theatre but also the women of our community!
Tickets sold at the door, cash or card only. All proceeds from this performance go to the Women Helping Women Fund.

The National Park Service and the Northwest Fur Trade Historians are providing a free family-fun event near Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. Take a step back in time, into our living history encampment to learn about the Fur Trade and what life looked like in this area almost 200 years ago! Enjoy how traders lived, trapped, hunted, dressed, and communicated in the 1800s. Talk about a blast from the past!
Living history demonstrations include: • Fort Colvile history • Women’s history • Sign talk and language • Animal trapping • Trading items • Reenactments

Eastern Washington University’s annual BFA Senior Exhibition features the work of graduating seniors enrolled in EWU’s Bachelor of Fine Arts Program. This exhibition includes the work of seven BFA candidates working in a variety of media and styles. Students will create a whimsical vase using slab and coil methods with a focus on texture.
Anyone 18 years or older, of any experience level with improv or poetry, who wants to learn how to harness improv to improve their poems. Join us in saying "yes, and" to your inner creative voice! See how the basics of improv can translate into writing your own innovative poetry. Learn the basics of improv and poetry through an engaging mix of group games, literary conversations and writing prompts. Whatever your experience level with poetry or improv, if you are someone who would like the chance to feel safer, more confident, and more in touch with your creative side, this class is for you!
