The "Watercolor Experience" is a collection of paintings from the Signature Members of the Spokane Watercolor Society. These senior members have a strong grasp of the medium and the ability to express themselves through it. You will be amazed at the variety of styles and see just how versatile watercolor is today.
Stop by the Liberty Gallery in June to view this great show. The First Friday Reception to Meet the Artists is June 6 from 5-8:30pm. At 7:30 pm a People’s Choice award will be presented, and as a special treat, our SWS member, Donna Stallings, will perform her violin from 5–7pm during the First Friday opening!
Watercolor, pencil & acrylic artist Bernadette Beeman grew up in North Idaho, and has been sharpening her hyper-realism pieces after studying with talented teachers through the years ~ in college she even studied welding!
Photographer Charles Ayars lives in Liberty Lake, having honed his skills on the plains of South Dakota taking pictures of old barns. He retired after 36 years as a Presbyterian pastor, having served in six states, and over the past eight years has expanded his artist's eye to capture not only the beauty of nature, but also the layering of images to create unique photo collages and abstracts.
Bernadette & Charles are the Pottery Place Plus Guest Artists this June ~ stop by the shop in the Liberty Building to see their great work... stop by First Friday June 6th from 5-8pm to meet them in person!
This meeting takes place on ZOOM and not at Auntie's Bookstore.
We will be discussing “Peacock and the Sparrow” by I.S. Berry at the June meeting.
This book club typically meets at 2pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month via Zoom and is led by Linda. Please send any inquiries and requests for the Zoom link to auntiesbooks@gmail.com
