The Spokane Renaissance Faire is a lively, immersive festival that transports guests to a world of knights, merchants, and medieval adventure. Held annually the first full weekend of October at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, the event draws thousands of attendees for a weekend of entertainment, shopping, and hands-on experiences.
Visitors can enjoy live performances including music, comedy, and armored combat demonstrations, explore a bustling artisan marketplace filled with handcrafted goods, and take part in interactive activities for all ages.

What defines the American sound? Cellist Zuill Bailey leads the premiere of Visions of Humanity, a bold suite of variations by five living composers reflecting on shared experience from strikingly different perspectives. Framing the work is a portrait of America, from Copland’s Shaker simplicity and William Grant Still’s lyric warmth to the cinematic sweeping landscapes of Billy the Kid.

All are Welcome! Come the First and Third Tuesdays at 6pm. We are focusing on Sri Easwaran's form of passage meditation and his 8-Point Program for daily living, currently meeting at the Spokane Buddhist Temple. This form of meditation fits with any spiritual path. Passage meditation was designed specifically for the Western “monkey mind.” It is a very disciplined approach to slowing down and focusing. It is difficult, but very rewarding! We are currently studying Sri Easwaran’s book "Passage Meditation". Questions, call Lou Ann at (509) 590-3512
