As a former member of the Serendipity Singers, Andrew Huppert has entertained in a variety of venues all over the world. He brings his guitar and vocals to share with area residents in the setting of a coffeehouse, with refreshments served during the entertainment. From nonsense songs like BEANS IN YOUR EARS to the famed DON’T LET THE RAIN COME DOWN to current folk music and many of his own compositions, Andrew presents a variety of easy listening entertainment. With Love From is an evening of professional contemporary dance featuring choreographic works by three artists from across the Western United States. As Vytal Movement Dance's first-ever concert dedicated to showcasing the work of guest artists, this performance is a heartfelt celebration of creativity, collaboration, and connection.
The evening will highlight the incredible work of guest choreographers Lexi Dysart from Southern California and Belle Baggs from North Idaho, along with a revival of a captivating piece by Vytal Movement’s Artistic Director Lexie Powell, performed for the first time in ten years.
Join us for an evening that honors movement, creative narrative, and the many voices shaping today’s dance landscape.

Northwest BachFest presents a concert featuring The Vega Quartet, the Quartet-In-Residence at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, as they celebrate their 20th Anniversary performing with Grammy-Award winning Northwest BachFest Artistic Director Zuill Bailey in an exciting, diverse program of music spanning three centuries. The SSQ opens its 46th season with guest artist Julia Pyke, principal flute for the Spokane Symphony. Last fall she was featured soloist when the Symphony performed Christopher Rouse’s Flute Concerto. The program includes Gabriela Smith's "Porcupine Wash," Amy Beach's Theme and Variations for Flute and Strings, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Flute Quartet No. 1 in D Major, K.285, and Carl Nielsen's String Quartet No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 13.

Jim Zimpel, Associate Dean of the College of Arts & Architecture and an Associate Professor of Sculpture + Extended Media at Montana State University in Bozeman presents a visual art exhibition in the discipline of Sculpture at the SFCC Fine Art Gallery. Zimpel states, “My work constructs factual and imaginary entry points and rituals-they are the means to process, explore and understand things that are actually, or perceived as, inaccessible.”
Heatherann Woods' debut solo exhibition explores perspective and perception in atmospheric oil paintings by capturing ephemeral light from familiar views in the Spokane region. She invites the viewer to not only step into the space and be moved, but also engage with fellow viewers, initiating conversations, by questioning the concept of "realism" and how we project expectations instead of receive information based on personal experience.

All community members are invited to monthly open house events with district leaders. Ask questions, share feedback and learn about our schools while enjoying fresh, local coffee generously provided by Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters. When you arrive, please check in at the school’s Main Office and follow the signs to the event.
Residents of Northwest Spokane and District 3 are invited to a town hall presentation about Together Spokane. Spokane Public Schools superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard and Spokane Parks and Recreation director Garrett Jones will share information about the joint initiative to improve schools, parks, and neighborhoods.
Proposed projects in Northwest Spokane include a new Madison Elementary School co-located with an Indoor Public Recreation Center, Merkel Sports Complex expansion, new Indoor Tennis Center, and a new Meadowglen Park, among others.
Together Spokane aligns an SPS bond and Parks levy that will be presented to voters on Nov. 4, 2025. All are welcome to attend this town hall or another event that fits their schedule. A recording of the presentation will be available after the event.
