February 5th, 12th, & 19th at 2pm- 3:30pm. New Presentation Series Explores the Growing Trend of “Solo Aging”. $12 for virtual attendees and $18 for in-person attendees. A series is open to people and professionals alike—seniors, caregivers, service providers, and anyone interested in aging well. This information is truly for anyone who’s aging. Spokane Area Jewish Family Services (SAJFS) invites the community to participate in Solo Aging, a three-part presentation series led by national thought leader and advocate Nancy Ruffner, who will join via Zoom from North Carolina. Snacks and beverages will be provided for in-person attendees.
Solo Aging, without the support of built-in family is one of the most significant and timely issues facing older adults today. Through candid discussion and practical guidance, Ruffner will help participants better understand what it means to be a Solo Ager and why it matters, while offering concrete strategies for navigating aging with greater confidence and security.
