Step into 50 years of Spokane’s greatest tradition! 50 Years of Movement brings the magic of Bloomsday to life through an immersive journey of rare memorabilia, archival imagery, and the iconic art that defines the race. From the evolution of the finisher shirt to the poster art of legendary artist Ken Spiering, this exhibit celebrates the creativity and community spirit that moves us all. Come relive the memories and feel the pulse of five decades of Bloomsday.

50 Years of Movement is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:00 - 7:00PM starting on April 4th, 2026 - April 25th, 2026.

Join us for a hilarious adventure at the Blue Door Theatre! Expedition is a fast, family-friendly improv comedy show where audience ideas fuel wild games, bold characters, and unexpected twists. Every show is made up on the spot—and no two journeys are ever the same.

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone’s favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece… and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

One of Sondheim’s most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated show with the opportunity to feature actors adept at dark comedy. Designers will especially enjoy highlighting the fantastical elements of this magical word.

Guiseppe Verdi’s monumental Requiem is an epic and deeply moving work written in honor of Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni. This choral masterpiece merges operatic intensity with sacred reverence, exploring the full range of human emotion—from fear and sorrow to hope and transcendence. It stands as one of Verdi’s most profound and stirring works, a requiem that feels both personal and universal.

The Mountain Harmony Show Choir and Northwoods Performing Arts present their annual youth show, this year entitled "High School Musical, Jr." Under the direction of Nina Pletsch, "High School Musical" features two popular teens auditioning for East High's Spring musical and is a nostalgic romp as they navigate the ins and outs of high school drama. Performances are scheduled on Apr. 16-18 and Apr. 23-25.

Gayle Havercroft is displaying his unique block printing pieces at Indaba Coffee Shop through April and May. He's been perfecting his skills since 2001 and especially enjoys using the Palouse as inspiration for many of his works. Gayle began adding watercolor to the block prints a few years ago. You won't want to miss seeing these.
